Leading floor covering and home accents manufacturer Nourison won in two categories at the 2019 America’s Magnificent Carpets Awards (AMCA) on Thursday, January 10th at the Museum of Introductions® (MOI) Gallery.
America’s Magnificent Carpets Awards, held annually during The Atlanta International Area Rug Market®, honors the best in area rug achievements. Nourison’s winning designs include the Prismatic rug (PRS14 Grey/Slate) in the Hand Hooked/Hand Tufted: $0 - 16 retail price per sq. ft.category and the Twilight rug (TWI24 Blue/Ivory) in the Machine Made $400.01+ retail price based on 5’x8’ category.
The Prismatic rug (PRS14 Grey/Slate) features swirling shades of blues, greys and cream creating a deep, almost cosmic design. The luxurious hand-tufted pile is carved for added dimension and texture.
The Twilight rug (TWI24 Blue/Ivory, shown below) presents an abstract design like “field paintings” of modern masters, with rich indigo pigments creating fascinating patterns on the ivory ground.
