In 2020 Harounian Rugs International (HRI) is launching a line of performance rugs and carpeting that will be a game-changer in the industry, offering floor covering that is soft, plush, and dense in Sunbrella® fibers, in on-trend sophisticated designs and colors that are indoor rugs that can be used... outdoors!
Harounian Rugs International has partnered with Sunbrella to create a line of floor covering collections using Sunbrella's soft yet durable yarn. The area rugs will be designed for cutting-edge performance along with broadloom and hand-loomed qualities, all offered in a range of textures in thick dense piles. HRI Performance Rugs featuring Sunbrella will be available in a wide range of price points that are in keeping with the high standards of the proven Sunbrella brand.
HRI's January Market introductions in Las Vegas will offer designs that are: Transitional, Traditional, Contemporary, Mid-Century, Arts and Crafts as well as creations by the legendary textile designer Wesley Mancini. The Sunbrella fiber used in all of the HRI Performance collections cannot be stained by any spills or pet accidents… totally child-proof and will not fade. During the Las Vegas Market the company will introduce Sunbrella collections in five qualities of machine-made area rugs for indoor and outdoor performance, hand-loomed collections from India and Nepal as well as broadloom that will be part of a custom 'cut-to-order' program.
In addition to the Sunbrella introductions, HRI will also be introducing six new hand knotted and hand-loomed collections during the Las Vegas Market. These new offerings will be Transitional and Traditional looks in on-trend colorations in quality constructions and fibers that HRI has been famous for over the past 50 years.
