At the October 2020 High Point market, Kalaty Rug Corporation’s primary emphasis is at the upper end with new heirloom hand-knotted collections and with new additions to a number of existing best-selling heirloom groups.
Also important to the company’s newest products is the recently announced N Natori series of power-loomed collections with renowned fashion designer/fashion icon Josie Natori. An extension of Kalaty’s existing partnership with Mrs. Natori, N Natori Serengeti and N Natori Bliss are the first in what will be a growing series of exciting N Natori power-loomed rug collections to be marketed under the N Natori by Kalaty label.
“Because the spring 2020 High Point market was cancelled due to COVID-19 and because we chose to forego the summer Atlanta and Las Vegas markets due to ongoing coronavirus concerns, we are all the more eager to greet customers in High Point,” says Mike Kalaty, a company spokesperson. “We have something new for every customer with fashion-forward rugs in a variety of designs, textures, weaves and constructions in all styles and at all price points. Although our main focus is our hand-knotted styles, we are adding seven collections to our more moderately priced K-TWO series of collections. Always a Kalaty specialty, color is at the forefront, and we are emphasizing fashion colors in all of our newest collections and styles – from updated-traditional patterns in modern colorways to new abstract designs with innovative color splashes to transitional designs in sophisticated natural hues.”
