The Rug Show USA announced its return to the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus, New Jersey on September 7-9, 2024. As a premier industry fair, The Rug Show offers attendees a place to buy new products, meet new rug makers, as well as learn and build connections through networking.

“The Rug Show has always been an exceptional opportunity to see and source from an incredible collection of products in one location,” said show organizer Jack Simantob of Art Resources. “This communal approach creates the best purchasing environment for our industry’s customers.”
“It was great to meet with other players in the game,” said 2023 exhibitor Alison Grey, of Turquoise Mountain, “and to meet with our customers in person.”

The well-attended 2023 edition was hosted by two dozen key producers and wholesalers who showcased classic, contemporary, antique, and one-of-a-kind rug designs from around the globe. Buyers look forward to the variety as well as the convenience of the venue and accommodations offered.

“We just love this show. I come every year,” said one buyer from Virginia. “It’s always worthwhile, there is a lot of good stuff and great dealers.”

“It was exciting to see what everyone had to offer—all kinds of beautiful designs, colors, and texture,” said Hannah Massarat, Tucson, AZ retailer.

Plans are also in the works for another signature Gala Welcome Reception for show attendees. Discounted hotel rates and online registration will be announced early in 2024. For exhibitor inquiries and attendee information, visit therugshow.com; @therugshow.

The Rug Show, a non-profit organization, made its New York City debut in the fall of 2012 as the first stand-alone show specifically for rugs and carpets. The to-the-trade buying event caters to the business-to-business/importer/maker to retailer, model of distribution.
