The new collections expand Capel’s selection of elegant, all-natural wool rugs – a category that is gaining momentum at retail as consumers increasingly seek out products that combine style with sustainability. These latest introductions expand the company’s offerings with three high-value, on-trend looks that range from transitional solids to contemporary and modern designs.

Nourison Home has appointed Michael Pitman as the new VP of Sales. In this pivotal role, Pitman will lead and oversee the company’s dynamic sales team, furthering Nourison Home’s mission to provide innovative floor coverings and home accessories to the interiors market.

Pitman brings over 40 years of experience in the furniture industry to Nourison Home. Prior to joining Nourison Home, Pitman most recently held senior sales management roles with Ashley Furniture, was the CEO/President of Durham Furniture as well as held executive sales positions with Schnadig Furniture and Lexington Home Brands. 

Dallas Market Center, the largest open-daily Design marketplace in North America, announced that Surya, a leading wholesaler of fashion-forward home furnishings including rugs, furniture, lighting, textiles, wall decor and decorative accents, is moving into a new space in the Interior Home + Design Center. The 14,000+ square-foot showroom is located down the corridor from their recently acquired company, Global Views.
