Fort Lauderdale, FL — LSI Flooring continues to expand its presence in the specialty rug market with the launch of the Loft Design Series, the newest addition to its rapidly growing Tisca Rugs made-to-order program.
The announcement follows strong momentum in 2025 for the Tisca platform, which has been gaining traction among rug specialists, interior designers, and luxury showrooms seeking handcrafted rugs with extensive customization capabilities and dependable production timelines.
LSI Flooring introduced Tisca Rugs to the North American market to provide retailers access to the renowned Austrian manufacturer’s heritage of craftsmanship while pairing it with a responsive distribution model for the U.S. and Canada. Since its launch, the program has continued to gain momentum among specialty rug retailers looking for flexible custom solutions.
In addition to growing demand for custom rugs, the program has also gained recognition for its commitment to sustainability. The Olbia Pure Nature Collection from Tisca Rugs by LSI was honored with the prestigious Green Collection Award at DOMOTEX, the world’s leading international trade fair for carpets and floor coverings. The award recognizes outstanding sustainability in both product design and production processes within the flooring industry.
The Olbia Pure Nature collection also carries Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certification, providing assurance that the wool textiles meet strict environmental and social responsibility standards across the entire supply chain.

Building on that momentum, the Loft Design Series introduces a new level of design flexibility to the program. The collection expands the offering with 36 additional colors and a refined contemporary aesthetic crafted from a blend of European and New Zealand felted wools.
Like all Tisca rugs, Loft is hand-made and hand-loomed to order, allowing designers and retailers to create rugs precisely suited to their projects. Rugs can be produced up to 19 feet 7 inches wide and may be ordered in virtually any size or shape, including custom borders, stripes, or unique design layouts.

Equally important for specialty retailers is the program’s industry-leading lead times. Authorized LSI showrooms can receive most hand-loomed rugs within 8–10 weeks, while oversized rugs larger than 10' x 14' are typically delivered within 12–14 weeks.
Alongside the Olbia Collection and Sisal/Jute Design Series, the addition of Loft significantly expands the creative possibilities available to rug-focused showrooms.
