FOR AREA RUG IMPORTER-WHOLESALER-RETAILER
Fast growing, family owned & operated, well-established (33+ years) reputable business in Atlanta, with a decent existing retail-sales base, is seeking a Retail Sales/Showroom Manager.
Minimum 3/4 years experience in retails sales of hand-knotted & machine-loomed traditional, transitional & modern rugs & good communication skills preferred. Excellent opportunity for even a relatively inexperienced candidate who is dynamic, energetic & highly motivated and is willing to learn quickly & take additional responsibilities. Will ultimately be responsible for retail sales, managing the showroom, shipping & receiving, related record-keeping & online or written communications, etc. Will also be looking after washing/cleaning, repairs & appraisals of retail customers’ rugs (done by outside contractors).
