COVER Connect New York is an annual trade show for high-end rug brands, curated and hosted by COVER magazine. Since the first edition in 2021 it has been steadily increasing the breadth of products offered, through attracting even more top-level, dynamic exhibitors. It’s a firm favorite with motivated professional buyers from area rug galleries, furniture retailers and department stores, plus interior designers too—all of whom favor its convenient location, collaborative atmosphere and impressive rug and carpet options.
The 2025 edition is back at its established home across two neighboring venues in central Manhattan. The esteemed international companies participating have been carefully selected to complement one another’s product and to present the widest possible variety of production and styles. Offering bespoke options for the residential and commercial sectors, they bring a wealth of experience, knowledge, and passion for handmade rugs, weaving, design, and innovation.
There are nine new brands at the 2025 show: Couristan and Kaleen, well known for their wide-ranging product offerings; Olker Rugs with attractive pieces woven in Afghanistan; Via Star Rugs, founded in Brazil and expanding into the US market; Sattar Rugs will bring complex transitional carpets; The New England Collection offers modern hooked rugs and Scandinavian-style faltweaves; Outalux product is specifically designed for outdoor use, hospitality or high-performance environments. Service Buddy debut its specialist software, which aims to revolutionize the rug industry, at the New York show.
European companies Battilossi and Paulig return, along with Knots Rugs from the UK and many highly reputable North American companies—such as Momeni which celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2025, Rug & Kilim, Tamarian, Lapchi, Anadol Rugs, French Accents, New Moon, Samad Rugs, Harounian Rugs International (HRI), Harcourt Collection, Wool & Silk, Zollanvari and Sumaq Alpaca. Together, they will offer a vast assortment of handmade area rugs and complimentary woven flooring.
