Dallas Market Center, the largest open-daily Design marketplace in North America, announced that Surya, a leading wholesaler of fashion-forward home furnishings including rugs, furniture, lighting, textiles, wall decor and decorative accents, is moving into a new space in the Interior Home + Design Center. The 14,000+ square-foot showroom is located down the corridor from their recently acquired company, Global Views.

The new Surya showroom, Interior Home + Design Center 1D321, will debut in time for the January Total Home & Gift Market, January 10-16, 2024.

“We are excited for what this new location and remerchandised space represent for our company,” said Satya Tiwari, president of Surya. “The Dallas marketplace is a vibrant, year-round destination for designers. Our move into the Interior Home + Design Center is a milestone that will allow designers easy and convenient access to both the Surya and Global Views brands.”

Surya launched in 1976 by Surya Tiwari selling hand-knotted rugs and has grown into a global brand with an expansive catalog of more than 80,000 products. Today, Surya is the premier one-stop source for home furnishings for a broad range of lifestyles. Surya opened their Dallas showroom in the World Trade Center in 2014 and in April of 2023 acquired Global Views, a renowned wholesaler of home furnishings and decorative accessories. Grand opening details and events in the new Surya showroom will be announced at a later date.

“Surya’s reinvestment in our marketplace is a testimony to their commitment to the design community,” said Cindy Morris, President and CEO, Dallas Market Center. “They are a destination, well regarded for their high-quality products, innovation, and customer service. We look forward to their grand opening in January.”
